Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve design characteristics of an object to be provided.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus operates as follows: imaging a user as a subject; performing normal imaging which is processing for generating one photographic image to be synthesized with one synthesis image including a background image, and special imaging which is imaging other than the normal imaging; receiving a user instruction; on the basis of an instruction other than an instruction on selection of the synthesis image including the background image to be synthesized with the special imaging image which is a photographic image obtained by the special imaging, controlling the synthesis image to be synthesized with a special imaging image; synthesizing the synthesis image to be controlled, with the special-imaging image obtained by the special imaging; and generating a special image which is a synthesized image obtained by synthesizing the special imaging image with the synthesis image. This invention is applicable to, for example, a photo-sticker making device which images a user as a subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19
