PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method for effectively suppressing volatilization of lithium at the time of sintering with a simple method in production of an LLZ-based lithium ion conductive oxide.SOLUTION: A lithium ion conductive inorganic compound surface coated LLZ-based lithium ion conductive oxide is formed by coating an LLZ-based lithium ion conductive oxide containing lithium (Li), lanthanum (La) and zirconium (Zr) as an essential component, and containing one or more kinds of niobium (Nb), tantalum (Ta), aluminum (Al) and boron (B) as an optional component with a lithium ion conductive inorganic compound (except for LLZ-based lithium ion conductive oxide).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
