Title:
原子炉格納容器内ドレンサンプ
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6393744
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
A nuclear-reactor-containment-vessel drain sump (9) formed through digging into a portion of the floor (10) of a lower dry well (5) in the lower part of a nuclear reactor pressure vessel (2) is provided with a vessel-shaped cover (11) defining an outer shell and a water path (15) for guiding drain water from the lower dry well (5) to the inside of the cover (11). The water path (15) extends along the floor (10) of the lower dry well (5), is provided with a flow path expansion part (17), and is such that the flow path width is wider on a drain water inlet side than on a drain water outlet side. As a result, it is possible to slow the progression of a molten core spread on the floor of the lower dry well, suppress the inflow of the molten core, keep the molten core in the lower dry well, and effectively cool the molten core using cooling water.
