Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conditional access system for enabling a broadcast business company to manage a version of a related information sub-system activated in a receiver.SOLUTION: A conditional access system S comprises: a receiver 2 in which a plurality of related information sub-system programs P are stored in advance; and a transmitter 1. The transmitter 1 transmits, to the receiver 2, a CA load descriptor in which a first program identification for identifying a related information sub-system program P for each conditional access method and a first load instruction for selecting one version from one or more existing versions of the related information sub-system program P are set. The receiver 2 activates a related information sub-system program P identified by a first program identification corresponding to the transmitter 2's conditional access method and its first load instruction.
