Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support comprehension of conversation in a foreign language.SOLUTION: A memory information update unit of a foreign language comprehension support device associates word data and time information and stores to a word DB when the word data is acquired from a word recognition unit. An extraction unit acquires time information from a time unit and creates retrospection time information indicating the time in retrospect from a predetermined time indicated by the time information when an instruction for translation by a user is received on a touch panel and receives notification of such. Next, the extraction unit acquires the word data which is associated to the time information in the word DB which is associated to the time information indicating time which is the time after the time indicated by the created retrospection time information and at the same time the time before the time indicated by the time information acquired from the time unit. A display controller displays a pair of the word indicated by the acquired word data by the extraction unit and the word in the translation target of the same on the touch panel.
