Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual image display device enabling adjustment for properly displaying a virtual image in association with an actual landscape.SOLUTION: A head up display 2 comprises a light source unit 4 and a combiner 9. A control part 55 of the light source unit 4 detects a front image Im in which an observer of a combiner 9 which displays a virtual image Iv so that the virtual image overlaps to the front landscape of a vehicle Ve in apparent, is imaged by a camera 3 and displayed on a display 44, and operation of position designation on the display 44 performed based on the front landscape. Then, the control part 55 changes at least one of the display position and magnification of the virtual image Iv and then displays it on the combiner 9.
