Abstract:
A light-emitting device 100 includes a package 2, a light-emitting element 1 disposed on the package 2, and a light-transmissive member 5 over the light-emitting element 1. An upper surface 5a of the light-transmissive member 5 and an upper surface 4a of the package 2 each have a plurality of projections. The light-transmissive member 5 contains particles of light-transmissive first fillers 52 having refractive indices smaller than the refractive index of a matrix 51 of the light-transmissive member 5. Part of the particles of the first fillers 52 is exposed to the air from the matrix 51 of the light-transmissive member 5 on the upper surface 5a of the light-transmissive member 5.
