Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle with a brake electric motor for applying a brake force to driving wheels, and capable of reducing longitudinal vibration and noise of the driving wheels generated due to torque ripple at a time of starting a drive electric motor.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle comprises: a drive electric motor that drives driving wheels; and an electromagnetic brake device that brakes the driving wheels, the electromagnetic brake device including a brake electric motor for pressing a frictional member against a rotational body rotating along with the driving wheels. During non-braking (S20), when the drive electric motor rotates at a rotating speed equal to or lower than a reference value (S40), the brake electric motor is actuated in such a manner that a periodic fluctuation of a longitudinal force generated by actuating the brake electric motor and transmitted to the driving wheels is opposite in phase to a periodic fluctuation of the longitudinal force of the driving wheels generated due to a periodic fluctuation of a drive torque generated by the drive electric motor in the same period (S60 to S100).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
