Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system enabling a device that performs printout on the basis of data to which another device applied RIP processing to change processing performed in the process of RIP processing by the other device.SOLUTION: An image formation output control device allocates mark processing to an HWF server and a DFE per piece of character information obtained from information sources different from each other by the HWF server and the DFE. A RIP engine in the HWF server obtains device identification information on a device including a RIP engine to determine whether mark setting is allocated to the HWF server S1801, and if mark setting is done S1801: YES, the RIP engine stores data before RIP processing S1802 before RIP processing is performed S1803. A RIP engine in the DFE obtains device identification information on a device including a DFE to determine mark processing allocated to the DFE, and performs mark processing allocated to the DFE on the basis of the determination result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
