Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective member insertion system and a protective member insertion method capable of reducing a burden on an operator.SOLUTION: A protective member insertion system comprises: a rotation support device 101 for circumferentially supporting a cylinder main body 21 which is formed into a cylindrical shape and equipped with a plurality of screw holes 41b, 42b and 43b at one end part of an axial direction along a circumferential direction; a detection device 102 for detecting positions of the screw holes 41b 42b and 43b; an insertion device 103 for holding and transporting a protective member 50 to protect the screw holes 41b, 42b and 43b, into an insertable area 130 containing a portion of one end part, and inserting the protective member 50 into the screw holes 41b, 42b and 43b arranged in the insertable area 130; and a control device 107 for rotating the cylinder main body 21 on the rotation support device 101 on the basis of the detection result of the detection device 102 so that the screw holes 41b, 42b and 43b may be arranged in the insertable area 130, and then for inserting the protective member 50 into the insertion device 103.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
