Abstract:
Electric scissors (1) comprise a motor (10), a movable blade (3), a transmission mechanism (12, 16), an operation device (6), an operation signal output device (20), a control device (32), a drive circuit (31), and a forced stop device (32). The forced stop device (32) is configured to stop the motor (10) when an abnormal state is present in which the value of the operation signal (St) output from the operation signal output device (20) is a value determined in the control device (32) to rotate the motor (10) in a specific rotation direction out of the first and the second rotation directions or to stop the motor (10), and in which the motor (10) is rotating in a direction opposite to the specific rotation direction.
