Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control method of an electric vehicle which can obtain a larger motor output while suppressing the overdischarge of a battery.SOLUTION: A power control method of an electric vehicle comprises: a motor generator MG being a drive source of the vehicle; a battery 4 which supplies power to the motor generator Mg; and a detection device for detecting a vehicle state including a battery state. At the rise requirement determination of a system lower-limit voltage, the power control method raises the system lower-limit voltage up to a value at a normal time or higher on the basis of the detection of the detection device. At a rise of the system lower-limit voltage, the power control method acquires a battery output power line VP which changes according to the battery state which is detected by the detection device (step S1), acquires an MG maximum use power line MP corresponding to a motor rotation number (step S2), and sets the system lower-limit value according to the battery output power line VP and the MG maximum use power line MP (step S3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
