Abstract:
 The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for efficiently amplifying a target nucleic acid in a PCR containing a base analog. A method for amplifying nucleic acid using a reaction composition containing a base analog, wherein the reaction composition contains (a) a variant of DNA polymerase belonging to the B family having reduced base analog detection activity, and (b) a PCNA that exhibits amplification and reinforcement activity.
