Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a collision caused by a radio terminal starting data transmission before completion of data transmission from another radio terminal.SOLUTION: Each of three or more radio terminals sharing a carrier for transmitting data to a communication device includes: a storage device for storing an initial back-off value; and a control device that performs carrier sense for the carrier at the time of transmitting data, transmits the data after termination of a time based on the initial back-off value stored in the storage device when the carrier is not detected, and waits to count the time based on the initial back-off value during the carrier being detected. The storage device stores one of a plurality of initial back-off values that satisfy the condition that the radio terminals' initial back-off values are different from each other and the condition that a difference between two of arbitrarily selected three initial back-off values is different from the remaining one initial back-off value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
