PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal ion adsorption material capable of eliminating and recovering metal ions from the adsorption material at high efficiency to heavy metal ions in a non-polar organic liquid, and in which the repeated adsorption recovery operation life of the heavy metal ions is improved, an adsorption body carried therewith, and a recovery method using the metal ion adsorption material.SOLUTION: There is provided a photoresponsive heavy metal ion adsorption material comprising a copolymer (P)consisting of a compound (A) having a group represented by formula (1) and a polymerizable ethylenic unsaturated bond or the photoisomer of the compound (A) and a polymerizable ethylenic unsaturated monomer (B) having an alkyl group with a carbon number of 6 to 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
