Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collagen production promoting agent having excellent collagen production capability produced by calcium phosphate sintered particles of small particle diameter in which reduction in biocompatibility and change in solubility are suppressed.SOLUTION: Provided are: a collagen production promoting agent containing a ceramic particle as an active ingredient and in which the ceramic particle has a particle diameter in the range of 10 to 700 nm, the ceramic particle is calcium phosphate sintered particle, and the ceramic particle does not contain calcium carbonate; said collagen production promoting agent in which the ceramic particle is spherical; and said collagen production promoting agent in which the ceramic particle is hydroxyapatite sintered particle, preferably does not contain an alkali metal element, and more preferably contains at least carbonate apatite on the surface thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: None
