Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductive cable capable of preventing arc discharge to the outside of a cable in an accident such as a ground fault; and a heat-insulating pipe for a superconductive cable.SOLUTION: A heat-insulating pipe for a superconductive cable includes: an inner pipe which houses a cable core having a superconductive conductor layer and a ground layer provided on the outer periphery of the superconductive conductor layer through an electric insulating layer and is filled with a liquid coolant; an outer pipe which is provided on the outer periphery of the inner pipe and forms a heat-insulating layer between the inner pipe and the outer pipe; and an arc resistant layer which is provided on the inner peripheral side of the outer pipe and blocks ark discharge from the cable core.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
