Abstract:
To provide a reusable decontamination agent, and a method for processing a used decontamination agent to use the decontamination agent again.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for allowing the processing of a used gelled decontamination agent which includes at least one of guar gum containing galactomannan, tara gum, konjac flour containing glucomannan, and also including borax, reducing monosaccharide, and reducing oligosaccharide, all of the components containing a radioactive material. In the method, the used decontamination agent is liquefied by liquefaction means, and the radioactive material is separated and removed from the liquefied used decontamination agent by separation means, and the liquefied used decontamination agent is gelled again by re-gelling means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
