Abstract:
A knitted component (1030) includes a knit element (1031) that includes an auxetic portion (1056, 1058, 1060) configured to move between a first position and a second position as the knitted component (1030) stretches. The knitted component (1030) also includes a tensile strand (1050) extending through the auxetic portion (1056, 1058, 1060). The tensile strand (1050) communicates with a securement device (1017) attached to the knitted component (1030) and configured to selectively fix to the tensile strand (1050).
