Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of improving accuracy of positioning a lens to a focus position while preventing cost of the imaging apparatus from rising.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging unit for imaging a subject; a focus state detection unit for detecting a focus state of a photographic lens on the basis of an output signal from the imaging unit; a drive unit for driving a focus lens which adjusts the focus state of the photographic lens; a position detection unit for detecting a position of the focus lens; an amplification unit for amplifying the output signal of the position detection unit; a control unit for controlling the drive unit so as to drive the focus lens in a direction of decreasing deviation between output of the amplification unit and a target value of the position of the focus lens; and a change unit for changing an amplification factor in the amplification unit on the basis of the focus state of the photographic lens detected by the focus state detection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
