PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photograph taking game apparatus capable of producing an image that causes little discomfort.SOLUTION: A photograph taking game apparatus has a background image and color information previously associated with each other and previously stored. The photograph taking game apparatus synthesizes a person layer 953 in which a person image obtained by taking a photograph of a person by using a camera is arranged, and a background layer 951 including a background image selected by a user. The photograph taking game apparatus determines a color image on the basis of a storage content on the background image and color information previously associated with each other and the background image selected by the user. The person image in the person layer 953 is corrected by using a synthesis color layer 957 in which the determined color image is arranged, and is synthesized with the background layer 951 in which the background image selected by the user is arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
