Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device that enables improvement of NOx elimination performance.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device includes: a first addition valve 51 for adding fuel to exhaust gas; a first selective reduction type catalyst 32 for eliminating NOx in exhaust gas by using the fuel added by the first addition valve 51 as a reducing agent and generating ammonia through the NOx reduction; a second selective reduction type catalyst 33 located downstream of the first selective reduction type catalyst 32 to eliminate NOx in exhaust gas by using the ammonia generated by the first selective reduction type catalyst 32; a second addition valve 52 for adding fuel to exhaust gas on the downstream side of the second selective reduction type catalyst 33; and a third selective reduction type catalyst 36 for eliminating NOx in exhaust gas by using the fuel added by the second addition valve 52 as a reducing agent. Each of the first and second selective reduction type catalysts 32, 33 has an activation temperature range that is wider than that of the third selective reduction type catalyst 36 and that includes a temperature range higher than the activation temperature range of the third selective reduction type catalyst 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
