Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide similar past incidents.SOLUTION: An information provision system is configured to provide information that assists in monitoring equipment or facilities, and comprises; filter processing means for filtering chronologically pre-stored event information of the equipment or facilities; generation means for generating a plurality of event series containing pre-specified event information using the event information that has been filtered by the filter processing means; computation means for computing similarities among the plurality of event series generated by the generation means; storage means configured to sort the plurality of event series according to the similarities computed by the computation means to generate incident information and store the incident information in a predetermined storage area; and information provision means configured to compute similarity between event information output by the equipment or facilities and the incident information stored in the predetermined storage area and to output the incident information according to the similarity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
