PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a zinc electrode of which the shape change can be suppressed; and a storage battery having a negative electrode composed of the zinc electrode.SOLUTION: A zinc electrode comprises: an active material including zinc species; and a metal adsorbent arranged by bonding functional groups having the power of adsorbing zinc to carriers. A storage battery comprises a negative electrode composed of the zinc electrode.
