Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a substantial depth of a recess, even when a thick object is not used as a workpiece.SOLUTION: In a preceding step, a plurality of recesses 22 are formed on a metal workpiece 40 by press molding, and a swelling part 223 projecting in a reverse direction to a press direction is formed on a marginal part of an opening of each recess 22. In a subsequent step, a mold for receiving the inside surface of the recess 22 is installed in the recess 22, and in this state, the swelling part 223 is collapsed by press molding, to thereby reform the marginal part of the opening of the recess 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
