Abstract:
To prevent an inward flange part from damaging, in a universal joint having a pair of yokes, a joint cross and a needle bearing, and having the inward flange part at one end in an axis direction of an annular body, where the annular body forms an outer ring of the needle bearing.SOLUTION: Four shaft parts 32 of a joint cross 3 are rotatably supported in the respective shaft insertion hole 21a of yokes 2 by a needle bearing 4, and outer ring 42 has an inward flange part 422 at one end in an axis direction of an annular body 421 so as to bendingly approach the shaft part 32. The inward flange part 422 is arranged on a base end side of the shaft part 32. The inward flange part 422 is opposite to an axial end surface of a needle roller. The shaft part 32 has a peripheral groove 32a partially arranged in the inward flange part 422.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
