Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery ensuring high energy density, high output and high capacity, and to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using that separator.SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery constituted of a positive electrode containing a lithium transition metal composite oxide, and a negative electrode, a separator, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, a separator for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery containing a tungsten compound is used. The amount of tungsten contained in the separator is preferably 0.005-0.1 mass% for the nonaqueous electrolyte.SELECTED DRAWING: None
