Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce the number of components and attach/detach rotating bodies in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction.SOLUTION: A drive transmission device comprises: a photoreceptor gear 82 that is a first drive transmission member to which a driving force is transmitted from a drive motor; a coupling member 140 that is a second drive transmission member attached to an end of a shaft 2a of the photoreceptor; a connection member 90 that achieves drive connection between the photoreceptor gear 82 and coupling member 140; and a coil spring 73 that urges the connection member 90 attached to the photoreceptor gear 82 toward the coupling member. The drive transmission device further includes a release member 60 that releases the drive connection between the connection member 90 and coupling member 140. The release member 60 is arranged on a side opposite to a side where the coupling member 140 is arranged across the photoreceptor gear.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
