Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cast steel article small in absolute value of thermal expansion coefficient in all sites.SOLUTION: There is provided a low thermal expansion cast steel article having a predetermined component composition, austenite with average crystal particle diameter of 200 μm or less as a main phase, containing a martensite structure of 0 to 3% by area percentage and having thermal expansion coefficient at 18 to 28°C of ±0.2×10/°C. There is provided a manufacturing method of the low thermal expansion cast steel article by holding a cast steel article having thermal expansion coefficient at 18 to 28°C of -0.2×10/°C or less at 300 to 450°C for 0.5 to 24 hours and then at -30 to 0°C for 0.5 to 24h.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
