Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably supplying a solid catalyst component to a reactor and stably performing a polymerization reaction in the reactor.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a polyolefin which comprises: a step s1 of forming a catalyst slurry supply flow 11 in which a solid catalyst for olefin polymerization is dispersed in an inert hydrocarbon medium; a step s2 of forming a liquid hydrocarbon supply flow 12; a step of forming a catalyst supply flow 13 by merging the catalyst slurry supply flow 11 with the hydrocarbon supply flow 12; a step s4 of supplying the catalyst supply flow 13 to a polymerization reactor 5; and a step s5 of polymerizing an olefin in the polymerization reactor 5, where in the step s3 of forming the catalyst supply flow 13, the hydrocarbon supply flow 12 is merged so as to surround the periphery of catalyst slurry supply flow 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
