Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that can bring the actual movement of a screen moving in the optical axis direction of light emitted from a light source close to a target value in a movement profile accurately in a short time.SOLUTION: An image display device comprises: a screen driving mechanism 300 that moves, in the optical axis direction, a movable screen 301 that is irradiated with light from a light source 101 to form an image thereon; and a memory 205 that stores screen driving waveform information created so that the movable screen 301 follows a movement profile to be a target in moving the movable screen 301. The image display device further includes a screen driving circuit 204 that drives the screen driving mechanism 300 on the basis of the screen driving waveform information stored in the memory 205, and the screen driving waveform information is created on the basis of the motion characteristics of the screen driving mechanism 300.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
