Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide an achromatic polarization element, achromatic polarization plate using same and liquid crystal display device. The achromatic polarization element has high transmissive and high polarization, and is achromatic in both at the time of white display and black display, especially has a high performance exhibiting a high-quality white at the time of white display. The present invention provides a polarization element which contains: an azo compound or a salt thereof represented by the formula (1), an azo compound or a salt thereof represented by the formula (2), and an azo compound or a salt thereof represented by the formula (3).
