PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide yeast containing polyamine at high concentration and production methods therefor.SOLUTION: The invention provides a method for producing a yeast with a high polyamine productivity, comprising: treating a yeast cell for mutation; and growing the mutated yeast cell in a culture medium containing one or more polyamines selected from spermidine and spermine at a concentration higher than the growth inhibiting concentration of the polyamine to the yeast cell before the mutation treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: None
