Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording device capable of avoiding increase of a current required for magnetic domain driving, and correctly controlling a bit length.SOLUTION: A magnetic recording medium 100 comprises a magnetic narrow line 5 having: a recording area 5a for recording binary data as magnetization of any of two different directions; a reproduction area 5c where the recorded data is reproduced; and a data shift area 5b provided between the recording area 5a and the reproduction area 5c, to which a pulse current to the recording area 5a from the reproduction area 5c is supplied, then a magnetic wall DW formed between a magnetic domain D formed by recording one of the binary data and a magnetic domain D formed by recording the other of the binary data moves intermittently, from the recording area 5a to the reproduction area 5c. The magnetic recording medium comprises plural piezoelectric elements 40 arranged in a direction where a narrow line extends to teh magnetic narrow line 5 in the data shift area 5b, and apply stress to the magnetic narrow line 5 when voltage is applied, for changing magnetism of the magnetic narrow line 5. A magnetic reproduction device 200 and a magnetic reproduction method are also provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
