Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system for an elevator capable of preventing a notification resulting from a position and a behavior of at least one of a person and an object.SOLUTION: A remote monitoring system 1 includes a control microcomputer 20, a monitoring terminal 3, a camera 210 for photographing inside of a car 21 with time, a processing unit 23 for processing captured images, and a storage unit 221 for storing model patterns of persons. The processing unit 23 performs: first processing for extracting each edge from an image; second processing for applying a model pattern of each person to an edge extracted from the image; and third processing for preventing transmission of abnormality information resulting from a behavior of a person from the control microcomputer 20 to the monitoring terminal 3 when coordinates of the model pattern of the person applied in the second processing are at the first specific coordinates or when a change in coordinates of model patterns in images before and after the image applied with the model pattern of the person in the second processing shows the first specific behavior.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
