Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow brake responsiveness to be recovered immediately, even if an opening area of a master port communicating a reservoir tank with a master cylinder is narrowed by brake pedal operation using extremely loose tread force by a driver and therefore flow ratios are decreased.SOLUTION: Variations of brake fluid which flows through first and second hydraulic circuits 22 and 23 during automatic brake operation are detected (S3); when variations of at least one brake fluid of brake fluid flowing through both hydraulic circuits 22 and 23 are out of a specified value (S4 and S5), the downstreams of hydraulic pumps 26 installed in the hydraulic circuits 22 and 23 respectively are connected to wheel cylinders 13a-13d, and the upstreams thereof are connected to a master cylinder 4; and brake fluid at the wheel cylinders 13a-13d sides is supplied to the master cylinder 4, so that fluid-pressure return processing for pressing back master pistons 9a and 9b is performed (S6).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
