Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a rice ball that always has a constant weight per one piece, and has a plump eat-texture and yet does not become shapeless.SOLUTION: The rice ball production apparatus includes an amount casing 3 for always holding a constant amount of cooked rice, and a primary molding machine 4 and a secondary molding machine 5 arranged in a line. The amount casing 3 includes an opening/closing shutter 34 for opening/closing a discharge port 36 at its lower end and a cutting shutter 32 located slightly above thereof, and produces a rectangular shaped tabular preliminarily molded body B. This preliminarily molded body B is compression-molded in two stages by the primary molding machine 4 and the secondary molding machine 5 to produce a rice ball E.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
