Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an axial length of a magnetostrictive torque sensor so as to enhance its resistance to temperature changes, magnetization of a rotation shaft, and magnetic noise.SOLUTION: A magnetostrictive torque sensor 10 includes a rotation shaft 2. A first alloy film 31 and a second alloy film 32 are plated and provided on a radial outer peripheral surface of the rotation shaft 2. A first stator core 45 includes two systems of coils: first detection coils 451 and second detection coils 452. The first detection coils 451 and the second detection coils 452 are connected to a signal detector (not shown). A second stator core 46 includes two systems of coils: third detection coils 461 and fourth detection coils 462. The third detection coils 461 and the fourth detection coils 462 are connected to the signal detector (not shown).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
