Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive assembly and an image formation device capable of switching a driven body to be rotationally driven while suppressing an increase in cost for the device.SOLUTION: A drive assembly 30 comprises: a first drive transmission path R1 for transmitting a rotational drive power from a driving source of a motor 31 to a first driven body, such as a manual paper feeding roller 22; and a second drive transmission path R2 for transmitting the rotational drive power from the driving source to a second driven body, such as a second paper feeding roller 21b. The drive assembly further includes a moving rotary member, such as a rotatable moving gear 32 which moves in different directions in a thrust direction at the time of forward rotation and the reverse rotation of the drive source, and switches a transmission destination of the rotational drive power between a first input drive transmission member, such as a first input external gear 33 of the first drive transmission path R1 arranged in one thrust direction and a second input drive transmission member, such as a second input external gear 39 of the second drive transmission path R2 arranged in the other thrust direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
