PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device and an information processing method with which it is possible to suppress the occurrence of unevenness in the difficulty of a created fill-in-the-blank problem.SOLUTION: An image processing device according to the present invention extracts a first character string included in document data and belonging to a predetermined classification item (step S12); extracts a second character string, among the first character strings included in the document data, whose frequency of appearance in the document data is less than a predetermined threshold (step S13); masks one or a plurality of the second character strings included in the document data (step S14); and outputs problem data that includes the document data in which the one or plurality of second character strings are masked (step S17).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
