PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator for vehicle display device capable of suppressing leakage of light.SOLUTION: An indicator 100 for vehicle display device which is applied to a vehicle display device comprises: an indicator body 120 including a shank 121 into which a light guided via a rotary shaft 72 guiding a light from a light source is made incident, an indicator light-emitting body 122 which is formed while extending from the shank 121, and a light guide hollow part 124 formed in a hollow shape including openings 124b at both sides in an indicator width direction Z1 for guiding the light that is incident to the shank 121, to the indicator light-emitting body 122; and a shading body 130 including a shading part main body 131 which covers portions including the shank 121 and the light guide hollow part 124 for shading the light that is guided via the rotary shaft 72, and a pair of first protrusive parts 132 protruding from the shading part main body 131 in the indicator width direction Z1 and fitted to the openings 124b of the light guide hollow part 124.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
