Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of preventing an excessive temperature of a battery, and effectively controlling the drive of an electric blower according to an amount of dust while securing a battery utilization time.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner 11 includes an electric blower 25, a dust collection device 22, dust amount detection means 26, a battery 28, temperature detection means 30, and control means 27. The dust amount detection means 26 detects an amount of dust sucked in the dust collection device 22 by an operation of the electric blower 25. The battery 28 serves at least as a power source for the electric blower 25. The temperature detection means 30 detects the temperature of the battery 28. The control means 27 controls an energization time for the electric blower 25 based on the amount of dust detected by the dust amount detection means 26 and the temperature detected by the temperature detection means 30. When the amount of dust is a predetermined amount or more, the control means 27 sets the energization time for the electric blower 25 based on a difference between the temperature of the battery 28 when the amount of dust is less than the predetermined amount immediately before the amount of dust becomes the predetermined amount or more, and a predetermined regulation temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
