PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subscriber line terminal device and a bandwidth allocation method capable of bandwidth control for ensuring contract bandwidth for a user.SOLUTION: The subscriber line terminal device includes: a setting value input part configured to input a setting value relevant to bandwidth control; and a bandwidth control value setting part which is configured to determine a hardware setting value which is determined based on a predetermined condition in values settable to a hardware chip for bandwidth control based on the setting value received from the setting value input part and to set the setting value to the hardware chip of the bandwidth control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
