Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism inhibitor composition which is excellent in storage stability while being an oxidative substance, exhibits a sterilization effect not only for bacteria, fungus and Algae but also for a protozoan such as ameba, and is excellent in a growth inhibition effect of a biofilm when added to an aqueous system and a sterilization effect of a Legionella bacteria, and to provide a microorganism inhibition method having the effect.SOLUTION: There are provided a microorganism inhibitor composition containing at least one oxidative substance selected from chloramine T and chloramine B, and at least one of a bromine compound; and a microorganism inhibition method including adding at least one oxidative substance selected from chloramine T and chloramine B and at least one of a bromine compound to an aqueous system.SELECTED DRAWING: None
