Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce logistics costs including an inventory cost and a transportation/delivery cost, in the planning of the transportation/delivery of articles to a warehouse.SOLUTION: A prediction shipment amount of articles at each of a plurality of terminal warehouse, and an actual shipment amount corresponding to the prediction delivery amount are acquired in a computer which creates a transportation/delivery plan between a plurality of the terminal warehouses and an intermediate warehouse from which the articles are delivered to a plurality of the terminal warehouses, an intermediate safety inventory amount in the intermediate warehouse when inventories are held in the intermediate warehouse, and terminal safety inventory amounts of a plurality of the terminal warehouses when the inventories are held in a plurality of the terminal warehouses are calculated with respect to a plurality of prediction time points included in a prediction objective period on the basis of the acquired prediction shipment amount and the actual shipment amount, and processing for performing changeover to the holding of the inventories at a plurality of the terminal warehouses from the holding in the intermediate warehouse, and changeover to leveled transportation/delivery to a plurality of the terminal warehouses, and outputting changeover time points is performed on the basis of the intermediate safety inventory amounts at a plurality of the calculated prediction time points, and the terminal safety inventory amounts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
