PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conveniently produce a spheroidal cell structure that is of a desired size and has a good shape.SOLUTION: A method for producing a cell structure is characterized in that: on a culture surface, prepared is a coat region that is coated with a temperature-responsive polymer or a temperature-responsive polymer composition; and on the coat region, formed are droplets of cell suspension; and in the droplets, performed is cell culture, where the coat region has a surface zeta potential of 0-50 mV.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
