Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method in which a tailored blank material obtained by joining multiple steel plates is subjected to cold press molding so that cracking is prevented from occurring at a weld bead, in manufacturing a press molding product made of the tailored blank material.SOLUTION: A tailored welded blank material (a TWB material) is subjected to heat treatment in which a heating temperature T(°C) is 50°C to 250°C, and a heating time t(h) satisfies a formula (t≥(52×D)×T) in accordance with an average plate thickness D(mm) of the multiple steel plates constituting the TWB material and the heating temperature T(°C). Subsequently, the TWB material is subjected to cold press molding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
