Abstract:
To provide a safe demolition method of a coke oven and a coal tower with a short work period.SOLUTION: The demolition method of a coke oven and a coal tower includes a north coke oven demolition step (S1), a coal tower demolition step (S2), a south coke oven demolition step (S3), and a gas duct-removing base demolition step (S4), wherein (a) S1 and S3 are provided with steps (S52-S58) for demolition of sections, each per a predetermined section, excluding sections on both sides, and a step (S59) for demolition of sections on both sides in the end, hence a wall comprising a backstay on a coke side can be demolished stably in furnace chambers on both sides, (b) S1 and S3 are provided with a step (S61) of connection of the backstay on the coke side with a wale component and conducting whole pull-down by using a plurality of heavy machines, hence demolition can be operated with good efficiency, and (c) in the base demolition step (S4), the heavy machines are introduced to both of the north coke oven and the south coke oven, hence removal of a brick wall of the gas duct can be operated concurrently.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
