Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment method for accurately measuring an amount of endotoxin and, in particular, a pretreatment method for accurately measuring an amount of endotoxin in a biocompatible material.SOLUTION: A pretreatment method for endotoxin measurement is provided, including a step of treating a sample with an enzyme to dissolve the sample. The method may preferably include a step of increasing temperature of the solution to deactivate the enzyme after the step of treating the sample with the enzyme to dissolve the sample. The enzyme is preferably a proteolytic enzyme and the sample is preferably a biocompatible material, in particular, a decellularized tissue.SELECTED DRAWING: None
