Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress corrosion of a hardened cement product such as reinforced concrete.SOLUTION: The admixture of the present invention contains either or both of a reductant and aerobic microorganisms, the admixture consumes oxygen by a reduction reaction and the aerobic microorganisms consume oxygen by respiration. Therefore, in hardened cement products obtained by mixing the admixture with cement, oxygen is consumed by the reductant or the aerobic microorganisms and a cathode reaction is suppressed and, thus, a corrosion reaction of a steel material embedded in the hardened cement product can be effectively suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
